Welcome to Lumio. Protecting your privacy is our top priority. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, use, and protect your information, ensuring full compliance with Apple's App Store Review Guidelines regarding user data.

2. Data Collection and Usage

We collect minimal data required to provide our journaling and AI analysis services:

• Account Information: We use Firebase Authentication and Apple Sign-In. We collect your email address solely for account creation and recovery.
• Journal Entries: The text and mood data you input are processed to generate AI insights.
• No Advertising Tracking: We do not track you across other apps or websites. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third-party advertisers or data brokers.
• Health Data: Lumio does not integrate with Apple HealthKit and does not read or write any medical data to the Apple Health app.

3. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Processing

Lumio utilizes Google Firebase Vertex AI. Your journal entries are transmitted securely for real-time processing to generate reframes and insights. Your private entries are never used to train public AI models. The processing is automated and strictly confidential.

4. Third-Party Integrations

To operate the app, we use:

• RevenueCat & Apple App Store: To securely process subscriptions. We never see or store your credit card information.
• Google Cloud (Firestore): To securely store your journal entries using industry-standard encryption.

5. Data Deletion and User Rights

You have the absolute right to control your data. By using the "Delete Account" button within the Lumio app settings, you can instantly and permanently erase all your journal entries, insights, and account data from our servers. Note that deleting the app does not automatically cancel your App Store subscription; this must be managed in your Apple ID settings.
